Clean
Energy |
|
Clean energy is the term used to describe energy that comes from sources whose supplies are regenerative and virtually inexhaustible. It's harnessing the earth's own inexhaustible energy - whether from the sun, wind, ocean, or other renewable sources - can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and provide clean, affordable electricity.

Solar
Energy |
|
Photovoltaic (PV) power systems convert sunlight directly into electricity. A residential PV power system enables a homeowner to generate some or all of their daily electrical energy demand on their own roof, exchanging daytime excess power for future energy needs (i.e. nighttime usage). The house remains connected to the electric utility at all times, so any power needed above what the solar system can produce is simply drawn from the utility.

Wind
Energy |
|
Wind may have been one of the first energy sources harnessed by man. For centuries, windmills have been used to pump water and operate grinding-mills. Less than 100 years ago, windmills provided a significant amount of energy consumed in rural areas. Wind is often considered an indirect form of solar energy because wind currents are created when the sun unequally heats different areas of the Earth's atmosphere. It is renewable because the wind blows. In one 24-hour period, the wind blowing across the world offers almost 14 times the energy used by the entire world.

Go
Clean Energy |
|
When you decide to go solar, you'll sleep better knowing you've made the enlightened choice that helps to preserve the environment and leaves a cleaner world for your children. You'll reduce the amount of energy you purchase from your utility, lower your electricity costs every day, and provide a measure of protection against future utility rate increases. The Benefits
